E Howarth Garage is a family run business with a long history. E Howarth Garage is currently ran by a father and son team with dozens of qualifications in the motor industry between them as well as over 40 years’ experience.

E Howarth Garage was originally founded by Edwin Howarth in 1924 after he bravely fought in WW1. E Howarth Garage went from strength to strength starting as a small workshop and expanding into a workshop with fuel pumps, a dealership and a driving school.

E Howarth Garage has survived in many financial hard times throughout history. However, this has ultimately led to the closure of many departments. E Howarth Garage moved premises and although it is now only a workshop, it is a thriving small business.

Current owner and third generation Robin Howarth has run E Howarth Garage for over twenty years and has over thirty years’ experience in the motor industry. Robin began his career as an apprentice for Citroën in 1982 where he learnt a lot of specialist knowledge and gained valuable experience and qualifications. Robin then reopened E Howarth Garage in 1993 at the new premises where he has been ever since.
